What distinguishes Allied Auto Insurance?
- Highly competitive rates for all types of auto insurance clients
- Aggressive deductible benefits
- Numerous excellent insurance discounts
- True accident and traffic violation forgiveness
- Two-level roadside assistance that applies to all vehicles and household members
- Convenient and versatile claim reporting system
Auto Insurance Discounts
Allied pricing begins with the driving history of all drivers to be on the policy. Allied then lowers that initial priced by applying any applicable auto insurance discounts. The most common discounts are as follows:
- Multiple policy discount, such as homeowners plus auto insurance
- Dual policy discount, such as business auto plus personal auto
- Multiple vehicle discount
- New vehicle discount
- Safe driver discount, which applies after three years of no accidents
- Good student discount
Deductible Benefits
An optional component of any Allied auto insurance policy is an additional coverage that reduces the deductible up to a $500 maximum limit. Opting for this plan costs a little more upfront, but it reduces the deductible $100 in the first year.
After each year completed without an accident or traffic violation, Allied reduces the deductible by another $100 to a maximum $500 discount. The coverage also includes a total loss deductible waiver, which means Allied waives the deductible completely in the event of total loss.
Traffic Violation and Accident Forgiveness
Allied includes forgiveness in every auto insurance policy, and what the forgiveness means is that the policy rates do not increase when at-fault. Rates never increase when the accident was the other party’s fault. This is true forgiveness in that there are no catches, but forgiveness only applies to a policy once every three years. If an at-fault accident occurs within three years of another, then the rates do go up based on standard Allied pricing. Roadside Assistance
Allied offers roadside assistance at two levels, Basic and Plus, both of which are optional.
Basic roadside assistance provides lockout service, flat tire service, jumpstarts, fuel delivery, free towing up to 15 miles and a host of membership discounts.
Plus provides the basic package plus free towing up to 100 miles, pre-trip map routing, emergency messages, turn-by-turn directions and trip interruption coverage.
What distinguishes Allied roadside assistance from other assistance coverages is that it is independent of the policy, meaning that it applies to ALL members of the household while driving ANY vehicle.
Claim Reporting
Allied has customer service representatives available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. Allied attempts to address all of your immediate needs with a single phone call, so they will often settle towing needs, and have a rental on the way, if applicable, within moments of that call. After that initial call, an Allied representative will call you within 8 business hours to settle all less immediate matters.
Allied Extra
Customers who take advantage of the multiple policy discount qualify for Allied Extra, which includes the following benefits:
- Single Deductible — A claim involving both the home and automobile requires just one deductible.
- Emergency Lockout — Allied pays the labor cost of a locksmith when locked out of the home or vehicle.
- Airbag Replacement — If an air bag deploys accidentally, this coverage pays for replacement.
- Accidental Death Benefit — This component adds $10,000 to the accidental death benefit of the policy, which Allied pays out if you die during an accident involving the covered vehicle.
Additional Coverages
In addition to roadside assistance basic and plus, Allied has three popular policy add-ons:
- GAP — If you total the car, the GAP coverage pays the difference between the vehicle value and the amount owed. This is very useful when the total value of the loan is greater than the value of the car at purchase.
- GAP (new car replacement) — This coverage provides the amount necessary to purchase a new car.
- Total Loss Deductive Waiver — The waiver is available independently of the deductible benefit coverage.
